Twitter Recommendations
I’ve been asked several times how I keep up with real estate market news, and how I find the stories that I discuss in my blogs and provide links to. Well, aside from my obsessive web browsing and my overuse of Google.com, I find lots of my information from the people I follow on Twitter. If you don’t have a Twitter account, I first recommend that you create one (for free), and then you find and follow me, @fsbojane.
The people I’ve been following all provide helpful and fun facts or opinions about real estate, and they each include their own unique angle on the massive market of information. Of the 293 people I currently follow, here are 10 (at least) to check out:
@BuyOwnerBlog provides an easy way to keep up with Buy Owner’s blogs, by including links to each new blog that is posted on their site.
@buyowner also includes links to the blogs, but it mostly tweets links to the newest houses for sale by owner. If you’re looking to buy, this will allow you to easily keep up with the houses available without missing the home of your dreams!
@RealEstateRQ offers real estate tips throughout the day, along with links to websites that share their secrets on how to make the most revenue through real estate.
@Green_Realtors offer tips and links to full stories that offer advice on how to live a green, eco-friendly life at home and in all spectrums of life.
@InmanNews provides links to articles from their website about every spectrum of real estate. The articles are professionally written and offer lots of updated and current news about the real estate market as a whole.
@RealEstate_ is your go-to for miscellaneous real estate information and links to information from all kinds of sources. It also suggests others on Twitter who are experienced or interested in real estate.
@NotMadeOfMoney isn’t just about real estate, but it offers lots of advice on how to save money on the whole buying and selling process, like information on homeowner insurance, and it includes uplifting money-saving advice.
@Green_Panda provides financial advice geared mostly towards young people in their 20s. If you’re a renter or first-time homebuyer, this is the one for you to follow.
@HGTVPro includes all kinds of information, from ways to remodel or live eco-friendly, to methods of saving money in the home buying and selling process. They also provide links to the latest news on real estate.
@hookedonhouses is a mom, writer and blogger who links to random, fun real estate information, like unique decorating ideas or links to tour houses on the sets of movies. She also incorporates personal info, so she feels more like a friend.
